About This Product

■MAGNETOMAT (magnetic mat)

This is an instrument that measures magnetic fields below 1000μT and magnetic permeability of materials in the range of 1.00 to 2.00μr.

■Flexible solution

MAGNETOMAT® 1.790 is a system for accurately measuring magnetic flux density and relative permeability. MAGNETOMAT software displays measured values, saves and exports data. The wide range probe can be optimally adapted to the requirements of the application, for example to measure the relative permeability of stainless steels and low permeability (non-magnetic) alloys and whether they are within the scope of quality control. Other applications include long-term monitoring of magnetic environments before installing magnetically sensitive equipment, and for locating ferritic inclusions in stainless steel and non-magnetic materials. In addition, it is possible to detect material changes (sulfurization, coating removal, microstructural transformation) by comparative permeability measurements.
