■Related to the new IEC 60404-7 2nd edition

- Designed in accordance with IEC60404-7, it is the only coercivity meter that can practically perform high sensitivity measurements of 0.2 A/m (0.0024 Oe). Ideal for developing ultra-low loss soft magnetic (composite) materials that require measurements of tens of A/m or less. ・Method B, which is the method adopted by KOERZIMAT, has been specified as a measurement method for specimens with shapes more complex than ellipsoids and multiple assembled parts, and a flux gate sensor is required, and Hall sensors are no longer permitted. - Devices like KOERZIMAT that do not have a magnetic shield to compensate for disturbance magnetic fields (e.g. earth's magnetism) no longer comply with the standard. ・The new standard also requires magnetic shielding correction calculations performed by KOERZIMAT. - The new standard explicitly specifies steps to reduce the effect of eddy currents on HcJ values, including reducing the magnetization amplitude and increasing the magnetization time, and KOERZIMAT is already compliant. ・For the measurement of small soft magnetic samples (such as special alloys and cemented carbide), the standard stipulates that the Internal Probe method used by KOERZIMAT be used as Method A b).
