About This Product

MegaPulse Power Line is designed to generate surge test pulses as described in FCC Section 68.302(d) Power Line Surge

■Summary

Surges have voltage and current waveforms with front times up to 2 µs and decay times down to 10 µs. The output voltage is a minimum of 2,500V, the peak short circuit current is a minimum of 1,000A, and the generated waveform is 2×10/2×10, Vp=2,500V. The peak voltage required for testing is set to 2,500V using the front panel knob and meter. Additionally, the polarity can be reversed using the polarity switch on the front panel, allowing the surge required for testing to be applied to the specimen. Please note that the output of this unit is isolated, so there is no grounding reference. A CDN (Coupling/Decoupling Network) is required to isolate the main power, the machine, and the specimen when pulses are applied. ・CDN product example) CDN240/15 (EN61000-4-5 compliant/Maximum 240VAC/Maximum 15A single-phase circuit) COMPLIANCEWEST (USA) ・Use a distributor network (optional) to connect the oscilloscope

- Capable of outputting an adjustable 2,500V to perform the tests listed in TIA-968-ASECTION4.2.4, Power Line Surge ・The output of this device is specially designed for this power line surge test. ・The front time of voltage and current waveforms is 2 µs maximum, and the decay time is 10 µs minimum. ・Minimum voltage waveform peak is 2,500V, minimum current waveform peak is 1,000A - Front panel meter displays peak output voltage, which can be adjusted with front panel knob ・The virtual output impedance of this unit is 2.5Ω - Optional PC software "Testminder" allows control and acquisition of measurement logs. ・We recommend a calibration cycle of 1 year. ・1 year product warranty included
