MegaPulse Telephone Type B is designed to deliver the pulses listed in TIA-968-ASECTION4.2.3 Telephone Line Surge Type B

■Summary

The surge has an open circuit voltage waveform with a front time of 9 µs and a decay time of 720 µs, and a short circuit current waveform with a front time of 5 µs and a decay time of 320 µs. ・Peak output, 1,000V/1,500V, is set using the front panel meter. Also, the peak value of peak short circuit current is minimum 25A/37.5A ・Polarity can be reversed using the switch on the front panel. Test L or M is selected using a switch on the front panel. ・Note: Option TMM also requires Option RE

■Features

・The output voltage of 1,000V/1,500V for testing listed in TIA-968-ASECTION4..2.3, Telephone line surge type B can be adjusted with the knob on the front panel. ・M test and L test are selected by switch S2 on the front panel. ・The output of this device is specially designed for this test. ・The front time of the voltage waveform is 9 µs, and the decay time is 720 µs. ・The front time of the current waveform is 5 µs, and the decay time is 320 µs. ・Maximum voltage waveform peak is 1,500V, maximum current value is 37.5A - Front panel meter displays peak output voltage, which can be adjusted with front panel knob ・The virtual impedance of this unit is 40Ω - Optional PC software "Testminder" allows control and acquisition of measurement logs. ・We recommend a calibration cycle of 1 year. ・1 year product warranty included
