About This Product

The Mega pulse 10x700-7PF is designed in accordance with Annex N of the information technology equipment safety standards IEC, EN, and UL60950, and is designed to protect against lightning interference (surges) that enter telecommunications networks and transient phenomena in power distribution systems. This is an impulse tester that simulates.

■Summary

A lightning surge test is a test that evaluates whether equipment can withstand lightning surges that occur in daily life, surges during switching, and other high-frequency disturbances that occur on power transmission lines. Implementation is stipulated by various IEC standards and JIS standards. Mega pulse 10x700-7PF can generate standard lightning surge waveforms (wavelength 10µs, tail length 700µs).

■Features

- Can generate test voltage (charging voltage for discharging capacitor) of up to 7kV. - Equipped with a voltmeter and impulse polarity indicator on the front panel. ・The output voltage can be adjusted digitally using the knob on the front panel. -Equipped with an interlock control terminal as standard (prohibits generation of high voltage when the circuit is open). - Optional PC software "Testminder" allows control and acquisition of measurement logs. ・We recommend a calibration interval of 1 year. ・1 year product warranty included
