About This Product

■Needle flame burner NB seriesThe needle flame burner NB series is a burner that evaluates the flame retardancy of resin materials in compliance with IEC 60695-11-5, JIS C60695-11-5 and UL1694 standards. The finished product or a sample cut from the finished product is exposed to flame using a needle flame, and pass/fail judgment is made based on its combustion behavior.

The criteria for the needle flame combustion test is that if it does not self-extinguish, the combustion time after contact with the flame must be within 30 seconds, and if it self-extinguishes, the tissue paper placed below the specimen must not ignite and the flame must be white. It is required that there is no burnt surface on the board. In addition, we also provide flame confirmation, testing equipment, copper blocks, etc. for testing.
