About This Product

■Remote ID device must be installedAs the use of unmanned aircraft such as drones is rapidly expanding, the Civil Aviation Act has been amended, and from June 20, 2022, unmanned aircraft weighing over 100g (drones, radio-controlled aircraft, etc.) will be required to be equipped with a remote ID device. Remote ID is similar to a car license plate, and allows the registration of an aircraft in flight to be determined by transmitting an aircraft identification signal via radio waves from the remote ID device.

■Braveridge “Remote ID”This is a board-type remote ID with battery-less specifications that has achieved an overwhelmingly low price. It is small and lightweight, and can be used not only for large drones such as industrial and pesticide spraying, but also for small drones such as FPV drones.

■Overwhelmingly low priceBraveridge is a communication device manufacturer and communication module manufacturer with its own factory in Japan. We use in-house manufactured modules for the Bluetooth® LE module that transmits aircraft identification signals and the GNSS module for acquiring location information. Furthermore, by designing and developing the product in-house and producing it at our own factory in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, we have achieved an overwhelmingly low price.

■Lightweight, compact battery-less board typeBy using a battery-less board type, it has become smaller and lighter, with external dimensions of 40 x 40 mm and weight of 8.5 g. The power supply connector uses a 2-pole GH connector (JST SM02B-GHS-TB). (Compatible connector: GHR-02V-S)

Additionally, it is designed to accept industry standard 2.54mm pitch pin headers. It is also equipped with two terminals and supports a wide range of voltage inputs. Equipped with 2 full-color LEDs, you can check the power ON/OFF status, config mode, transmission, GNSS acquisition, etc.

■Two types of antennas are available: built-in and external.There are two types of Bluetooth® LE antennas and GNSS antennas: one with a built-in antenna on the board and one with an external antenna connected. The most suitable antenna can be used depending on whether it is installed on the outside of the case, built into the inside of the case, or the structure and material of the case.
