About This Product

■Development of a monitoring system for reservoirs, including priority reservoirs for disaster prevention

During heavy rains in northern Kyushu and heavy rains in western Japan, many reservoirs burst, causing extensive damage. In light of the frequent heavy rain disasters that have occurred in recent years, the national government has reviewed the criteria for selecting ``disaster prevention priority reservoirs,'' and the approach to reservoir countermeasures has changed significantly. Each local government has an urgent need to develop a monitoring system, including the installation of water level gauges, and in order to install it in many reservoirs, a low-cost and easy-to-install ``reservoir management system'' is required. In order to solve these problems, Braveridge combines our strengths in IoT wireless communication technology, low power consumption Bluetooth®︎LE that can be powered by batteries, and mobile lines (LTE) that enable wide area communication, and further mass-produce it. We have commercialized a "reservoir management system" that utilizes design technology to make equipment smaller and lighter and easier to install.

Ideally, the camera should be installed in a location where the spillway can be seen, and the water level sensor should be placed near the diagonal gutter where it is easy to install, but these locations are often in the shade. In Braveridge's "reservoir management system," the camera and water level sensor are both battery-powered and wireless, so only the router with an integrated solar panel can be installed in the sun, and the camera and water level sensor can be placed in the optimal location that meets the requirements. can be placed.
