About This Product

■BravePI 4-pole harness with connectors on both sides 5m BVPOC-5M-01

This is an optional 5m 4-pole harness for connecting each BravePI sensor board, BravePI transmitter, and BravePI main board. Using this product allows for more flexible sensor installation according to the on-site installation environment. Each BravePI sensor board comes with a 50cm 4-pole harness for connecting to the BravePI transmitter and BravePI main board.

■What is BravePI?

Raspberry Pi is a single board computer (SBC) that is popular worldwide. It is often used for PoC (Proof of Concept) to realize IoT and for actually building IoT environments in the field. "BravePI" is an easy way to implement wireless IoT using Raspberry Pi.

■Easily build wireless IoT using Raspberry Pi

Attach the "BravePI main board" to the Raspberry Pi in a stacked manner. Simply connect the BravePI transmitter with a sensor board selected from a wide variety of sensor boards depending on the application, and you can create a wireless connection between the Raspberry Pi and the sensor. For wireless communication, we use ultra-low power consumption Bluetooth®LE, and by using a battery-powered transmitter, the sensor can be installed even in areas without power. Raspberry Pi can collect a wide range of sensor data while remaining in a powered location. Line-of-sight communication of approximately 500m is possible.

・Sensor is battery-powered and wireless ・Each sensor and transmitter can be easily connected with a connector (no soldering required) ・Easy to set up by linking with a smartphone - By using the dedicated iOS app (free of charge), you can easily set the link between each transmitter and the main board, the sensing interval, etc.
