About This Product

■BravePI transmitter (CR123A) BVPTB-01

By connecting various BravePI sensor boards with connectors and communicating with the BravePI main board via Bluetooth®LE, you can easily create wireless IoT between the sensor board and Raspberry Pi using Raspberry Pi. Since it operates on battery power, the sensor board can be installed even in areas where there is no power source.

■Easily build wireless IoT using Raspberry Pi

Attach the "BravePI main board" to the Raspberry Pi by stacking it. Simply connect the BravePI transmitter with a sensor board selected from a wide variety of sensor boards depending on the application, and you can create a wireless connection between the Raspberry Pi and the sensor. Raspberry Pi is a single board computer (SBC) that is popular worldwide. It is often used for PoC (Proof of Concept) towards the realization of IoT and for actually building IoT environments in the field. By using "BravePI", you can more easily build IoT using Raspberry Pi.

■Use a transmitter to make the sensor battery-powered and wireless

For wireless communication, Bluetooth®LE, which has ultra-low power consumption, is used, and by using a battery-powered transmitter, the sensor can be installed even in areas without power. Raspberry Pi can collect a wide range of sensor data while remaining in a powered location. Line-of-sight communication of approximately 500m is possible.

■Can be linked with the Fukuoka Prefectural Industrial Technology Center's "IoT Introduction Support Kit" app

By using the "IoT Implementation Support Kit Software", an application that allows dashboard management of various sensor data on a PC, you can easily start using IoT without developing an application.
