About This Product

The 3D position measurement system made by Polhemus is a 6 -dimensional measurement system that can measure 3D position coordinates (X, Y / Z) and Ouler angles (Pitch, Yaw, Roll) using magnetism. Data can be measured in real time without being affected by physical obstacles, unlike optical, sound wave type, and camera type to use magnetism. If it is a wireless type, it can be used for exercise with rotation without entangled cable. ・ Sampling rate as high as a high -speed camera reaching 960Hz ・ Real -time confirmation of measurement data by 1ms high -response ・ Accurate measurement by high accuracy of 0.38mm ・ Up to 16 sensors can be connected to a small and lightweight body unit ・ Memorning function of magnetic field disturbance due to FTT (Fly True Technology) VIPER is a 3D magnetic position measurement system using magnetism. This system is composed of a source (TX-2) source (TX-2), a sensor (RX-2), and a control unit (SEU) that controls them, and can detect 6 degree of freedom. This magnetic system, unlike other systems (optical, sound wave type, camera type), provides measurement data in real time without being affected by physical obstacles (blind spots). In addition to the small and lightweight body, the amazing sampling rate, the highest accuracy in the history of Polhemus products, and the same as a high -speed camera, has been realized at a low price. Furthermore, a magnetic field distortion when there is a metal around the measurement environment, which was a magnetic sensor a week point, and the easing of this distortion has been newly added. VIPER proposes operations in a new wide range of fields that have been difficult to adopt with magnetic sensors.
