About This Product

Aluminum die-cast parts usually undergo several trial runs before mass production. In many cases, the shape is confirmed by cutting out a rolled material such as A6061, and depending on the evaluation details, the product is manufactured by cutting out a material equivalent to ADC12. Did you know that the commonly distributed ADC12 equivalent materials have similar chemical composition to mass-produced products, but the mechanical properties differ slightly depending on each manufacturer? 

The Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS H 5302: 2006) states that the mechanical properties of ADC12 are ``based on the agreement between the delivery and delivery parties'' and do not guarantee anything other than the chemical composition. Material manufacturers provide reference values ​​for mechanical properties, but these may differ significantly from the actual data.

■Using ADC12 without nestsIn the past, when prototype blocks were cast for machining, the hydrogen gas generated during refining created cavities, making it difficult to achieve uniform density. There are multiple procurement routes for ADC12 without nests, and it is possible to manufacture prototype parts with much higher precision than ordinary ADC12 materials. Our supplier uses ultrasonic waves to check for nests, so we have no record of any nests having functional problems. It is also possible to attach a component analysis table.

■We are confident in our measurement accuracy. We have a dedicated inspection room equipped with a constant temperature room air conditioner.Products for evaluation tests that require more accurate measurement results. In order to extract data fairly, we use a constant temperature room air conditioner to conduct tests in a dedicated room with constant environmental temperature and measurement object conditions. Since we have a data logger that has been used by NASA, we also ensure traceability of environmental temperature data.
