About This Product

The mainstream catalyst electrode material for polymer electrolyte fuel cells is one in which Pt nanoparticles are supported on a carbon black carrier. However, in recent years, as a next-generation catalyst material, Pt is supported on the surface of powdered CNT instead of a carbon black carrier, which is expected to improve durability and conductivity. We have developed a Pt/CNT platinum catalyst with even higher catalytic ability by supporting platinum nanoparticles using a reduction method on nitrogen-doped CNT, which has redox catalytic ability. Additionally, this platinum-supported carbon nanotube is characterized by higher dispersibility than conventional Pt/CNT. In addition to Pt nanoparticles, it is also possible to support Pt-Co alloy nanoparticles, which are expected to have high catalytic performance and durability, so please feel free to contact us.
