About This Product

Due to temperature limits, CNTs cannot be grown directly on polymer films such as rubber or resin. However, vertically aligned CNTs grown on an inorganic heat-resistant substrate can be transferred from the substrate to a resin film by a simple method such as heat pressing. In particular, our long oriented CNTs are easy to transfer, so we have a track record of transferring them to many polymer films, resin films, paper, etc. After transfer, the CNT growth tip is buried and fixed in the polymer film, and the other CNT growth root is exposed like a brush on the surface of the film. The exposed CNT root part is soft and bends arbitrarily, so the contact resistance is low and good conduction can be achieved even with a slight contact pressure, exhibiting unique surface contact resistance characteristics.
