About This Product

Vertically aligned CNTs are grown on both sides of metal foil such as Cu or Zr, and the total thickness is 100 to 200 μm. One idea currently being considered for the use of VACNT-DS is TIM. TIM (Thermal Interface Material) refers to a thermally conductive material interposed between a heat sink and a heat sink (CPU, LED, printed circuit board, etc.), and silicone grease, thermally conductive sheets, etc. are commonly used. However, as modules become smaller and larger in capacity, vertically aligned CNTs are being considered as a promising TIM material to achieve higher performance. Double-sided oriented CNT/metal foil is considered to be an excellent TIM due to its high crystallinity, excellent thermal conductivity in the vertical direction, and elastic strength. Furthermore, when used as electrode plates for oxidation/reduction reactions, high reaction efficiency is expected by taking advantage of the large specific surface area.
