About This Product

Vertically aligned CNTs are produced by depositing a catalyst on a heat-resistant substrate such as metal or ceramics and heating the substrate to 650-800°C in carbon source CVD gas. It has a unique structure that allows electricity and heat to be transmitted directionally perpendicular to the surface, and has a large specific surface area, making it suitable for field emission emitters, biosensors, various electrode plates, capacitor electrodes, fuel cell electrodes, and lithium ion battery current collector plates. Many other uses are being considered. In addition, because it has a soft structure, it has the characteristic of providing low contact resistance even with low contact pressure. We can provide samples of vertically aligned CNT substrates (for a fee), or we can produce sample samples that grow vertically aligned CNTs on the substrate of your choice. It is possible to grow CNTs not only on flat substrates but also on various three-dimensionally shaped substrates such as meshes and fibers.
