About This Product

■Applications

A tool for bonding sample sections and specimens.

■Features

・Prepare for specimen attachment by simply applying it to any location on the slide glass. ・Unlike conventional adhesives, there is no need to spread hot water on the applied slide glass. ・Effective in preventing specimen detachment from heat and protein digestion operations in immunostaining methods using microwave ovens, ISH methods, etc. By using Tissue Capture and A-PAPPen together, floating cells, adherent cells, etc. can be pasted anywhere on a glass slide. Immunostaining and ISH can be performed by placing a few drops of culture solution or cell suspension on a glass slide surrounded by liquid blocker and attaching the cells to the glass slide. Similar to pasting cells by centrifugation, preparation of specimens such as infected cells can be easily performed.

■How to use

A thin film is formed by gently and slowly tracing the tip of the pen once over the glass slide surface. Simply placing paraffin sections, frozen sections, cells, etc. on top of this coating will strongly adhere them and prevent them from falling off during staining work. Furthermore, the glued sections can be stretched simply by placing them on the stretcher.

■Notes

・Avoid applying multiple times or applying too quickly as this may cause unevenness of the film, resulting in peeling or background. Depending on the glass slide, the film may be repelled due to its hydrophilic properties, resulting in blisters. In this case, it will not work, so please use a new glass slide. (Generally, glass slides are treated with hydrophilic treatment, so please wipe them with alcohol etc. before use.) ・When working in a room with high humidity or low sound, be sure to use a hair dryer to dry the product. If drying is insufficient, background may occur and sections may easily fall off. ・Please handle with care so as not to stain the tip (pen nib). The adhesion of impurities will affect the dyeing. - Use slide glass that has not been surface-treated in advance. Sections may fall off on treated glass surfaces.
