About This Product

■Applications

By using it during immunostaining, you can perform the immunostaining process efficiently. Draws a strong water-repellent line on the glass slide. By enclosing the specimen, work efficiency such as immunostaining is greatly improved.

■Features

・A-PAPPen is an essential tool for tissue staining work. In immunohistochemical staining, a water-repellent circle can be easily created around the specimen on a glass slide. Reduces the loss of antibodies and specimens. - Heat resistant up to 120℃. ・It is water repellent and the created circles are easily dissolved in xylol. *After cleaning with xylene, use alcohol or acetone. - Does not contain bromopropane and is REACH compliant.

■How to use

- When using for the first time, press the tip of the pen with the pen facing upward to release the gas inside the pen. - Gently shake the pen and push the pen downwards into the paper, etc., and the ink will come out. The first time, it will take some time to soak into the pen tip. Please be careful not to let too much ink come out. - If too much ink comes out, press it against unnecessary paper, etc. and wipe off the excess ink. ・Be sure to close the cap after use.

■Precautions for use

- When using for the first time, please follow the instructions on the pen body to bleed the air before use. ・Please wait for the ink to dry thoroughly before dyeing. If too much ink comes out, wipe it off. ・If surfactant remains on the glass after immersion in PBS etc., it will not function. Wipe it off or soak the glass in a surfactant-free buffer to remove the surfactant.
