■What is a friction fastener?

Friction fasteners are mechanical elements used to connect the rotating shafts of various industrial machines to pulleys, gears, etc. Friction fasteners are also called keyless bushings depending on their use, and are widely used in industrial machinery, machine tools, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, food machinery, etc. Typical methods include the wedge method (mechanical method), which uses the wedge principle, and the hydro method (hydraulic method), which uses Pascal's principle. ■Types and characteristics of friction fastening methods

- Wedge method (mechanical method): Cheap and highly versatile, but requires time and effort to install and remove. ・Hydro system (hydraulic system): Although slightly more expensive than the wedge system, it is easy to maintain, and installation and removal are easy, quick, and highly accurate.

■Features of PSL-D model

This is a mechanical type shaft lock that is designed for medium loads and can keep surface pressure to a minimum.The shaft and hub are completely connected by tightening the clamping bolt. There is a standard type made of steel and an electroless nickel plated type for simple rust prevention.
