About This Product

■Characteristics and uses- Rigid couplings are metal-integrated couplings that have no backlash and no power/motion loss.
- Be sure to set up accurate alignment between axes as there is no structure or function to absorb misalignment.
・It has a symmetrical structure around the rotation axis, so it has excellent balancing characteristics.
・In particular, SRGP SERIES allows precise installation by simultaneously machining the inner and outer diameters.

■Product examples- Clean the inner surface of the coupling and the outer surface of the shaft and apply a thin layer of oil. However, please never use oil containing silicone or molybdenum.
・Please insert the shaft according to the recommended shaft insertion length (L1).
・Place the dial gauge on the finished outer diameter surface, and tighten the fastening bolt while adjusting so that the amplitude of the gauge becomes 0 when the shaft is rotated. At this time, we recommend using a torque wrench to tighten with uniform torque.
・Tighten the bolts by gradually increasing the tightening torque (1/4, 1/2 of the recommended tightening torque) as shown in the figure.
・Using a torque wrench, repeatedly tighten all bolts to the recommended tightening torque until they are fixed, then turn the shaft little by little and check the value on the dial cage.
・Please install the other side using the same procedure.

■Standards and performance・The moment of inertia and mass are the values ​​at the maximum inner diameter for each product number.
・The allowable torque is determined by the inner diameter dimensions.
・Due to its structure, the tapered fastening type cannot use auxiliary means such as keys/keyways to supplement the fastening force.

■Standard inner diameter・We recommend the tolerance of the shaft used to be h7.
・Non-standard inner diameter and special tolerances can be applied.
