■Features

Security glass is a glass that uses a flexible and strong interlayer film, and can be expected to have security performance against ``breaking'' and ``prying'', which are the most common methods of breaking into glass. Depending on the material used, the glass becomes unique.

■Hirami crime prevention 30

Security glass with an approximately 0.76 mm (30 mil) interlayer film sandwiched between two sheets of glass. The interlayer film is twice as thick as ``Hirami'', a laminated glass designed for safety and shatter prevention. It is difficult to "pry it open" using a screwdriver.

■Hirami crime prevention 60

Security glass with an approximately 1.52 mm (60 mil) interlayer film sandwiched between two sheets of glass. It is effective not only for "prying open" houses and condominiums using a screwdriver, but also for "breaking down" using a small crowbar.

■Hirami crime prevention 90

Security glass with an approximately 2.28 mm (90 mil) interlayer film sandwiched between two pieces of glass. It also resists "breaking down" methods using small crowbars and hammers in apartments and stores.

■Introduction of the common mark for security building parts (CP mark)

The mark can only be affixed to security glass that is publicly listed in the "Security Building Parts Inventory" published by the Public-Private Joint Council. *The initials C and P of Crime Prevention are symbolized.

■Characteristics

It takes time to break the glass with a hammer, etc., and can be expected to have a crime prevention effect. Displaying the CP mark that has passed the crime prevention performance can be expected to have the effect of suppressing crime.

■Penetration resistance

The flexible and strong special film makes it difficult for projectiles to penetrate, making this glass extremely safe against flying objects.

■Scatter prevention effect

Since the glass is bonded to a special film, it is possible to minimize the scattering of fragments in the event of breakage, making it a highly safe glass.

■Ultraviolet absorption effect
