We can manufacture table tops in your desired size and wood species. First, please tell us about your image. We can also make suggestions regarding the type of wood and the pattern of bonding.
■Choose the type of wood
Since Mori Kogei has specialized in decorative plywood processing for many years, we handle a wide variety of trees, including rare species that are currently difficult to obtain. We have a wide variety of trees grown in various regions around the world in a variety of colors.
■Choose a shape
Shape: The basic shape is rectangular, but other shapes such as circular are also available upon request.
■Determine the size
We can produce dining tables, living tables, center tables, side tables, low tables, cafe tables, desks, etc. in any size you desire.
■Choose a pasting pattern
At Mori Kogei, we use original pasting patterns and wood inlay techniques to express the designs our customers envision in wood. After consulting with you about the image and colors you have in mind, we will create an original design.
■Wood inlay
We express text, illustrations, photographs, etc. with wood grain. Delicate designs can be inlaid with wood.
・By adjusting the size of the veneers that make up the pattern, we will produce it to match your desired top plate size.
-Other original designs such as letters and illustrations can be created using wood inlay.
・A limitless number of combinations are possible, such as simple combinations using a single tree species, or colorful combinations using multiple tree species.
■About finishing painting
You can choose from oil painting, urethane painting, ceramic wood painting, and mirror painting. Oil painting is good if you value the feel and texture of the wood, but we do not recommend it for table tops as it has low resistance to stains. When considering the balance between appropriate texture and durability, we recommend urethane and ceramic wood.
In addition, there are some wood species that are mirror-coated to create a luxurious finish, creating a luxurious atmosphere unlike any other.
About color
■Toning
If you want to match the color with other interior decorations, if you can send us a color sample that is close to the actual color, we will match the color to the best of our ability.
■Indigo dyeing
We accept indigo dyeing using indigo from Tokushima Prefecture.
■About legs
We accept orders for the table top only, but we can also produce the legs as well.
