■What is Mori Kogei?Mori Kogei is a decorative plywood processing company that was founded in Tokushima in 1953 and has been specializing in pasting veneer wood, which is thinly sliced ​​wood like paper, to the present day. We have inherited the techniques and knowledge of wood that we have cultivated over many years from generation to generation, and we propose a variety of designs, such as devising bonding methods and combining different colored woods.

At Mori Kogei, we believe that living with trees enriches the soul. We would be happy if we could suggest objects and spaces that make you feel at ease in your daily life, and play a role in making your thoughts a reality.

■Packing patternIn addition to the ordinary pasting methods, Mori Kogei also has original patterns developed in-house. We listen to the customer's image and make suggestions. Even if you simply create a composition with one tree species (color), you can create a special design by thinking about how to combine them. It is also possible to create colorful and impressive designs using multiple tree species.

■Wood inlayWe express text, logos, illustrations, original designs, etc. with wood grain. Delicate designs can be inlaid with wood.

■Processing sizeThe processing size varies depending on the pasting pattern. If the design requires consideration of the expansion and contraction of the wood due to the adhesive during the processing process, we will advise you on the processing size based on the processing process in mind. In the case of simple patterns, it is generally possible to process even large sizes. In the case of wood inlays or complex pasting patterns, there may be restrictions on the size that can be processed depending on the design.

■Type of woodSince Mori Kogei has specialized in decorative plywood processing for many years, we handle a wide variety of trees, including rare species that are currently difficult to obtain. We have a wide variety of trees grown in various regions around the world in a variety of colors. *Some tree species may not be available due to inventory status.

■Framing/finishingIn addition to framing art panels and wooden signs, we also process them into furniture products such as tables.
