About This Product

■Large current carrying capacity

Thanks to high-quality plating, the contact system achieves a long service life of up to 10,000 mating cycles. Lamellar contacts have a current carrying capacity of up to 2,400 A and can withstand heat up to 150 °C. ODU LAMTAC® guarantees high connection security even with high current connections.

■Low contact resistance

The structure has many lamellar stripes lined up in parallel to maintain stable and low contact resistance. This provides sustained and stable transmission. Furthermore, the large number of connections ensures a high level of connection safety and vibration resistance.

■Flexibility

ODU LAMTAC® is also suitable for unfavorable mounting conditions and tight space conditions. Special materials and modern production processes ensure maximum performance even in the smallest of spaces.

■Multi-talent

ODU LAMTAC® contact technology is easy to modify and can be adjusted to suit any requirements. This is possible because of our large modules, which consist of contact lamellae of all standards, materials, plating methods and connection technologies.

■Scalability

The ODU LAMTAC® connection system is easily expandable and available in all sizes with contact diameters from 1.5 mm to 16 mm and even larger. This allows for flexible adjustment according to each current carrying capacity requirement.

■Gold plating

Gold is a precious metal with particularly excellent corrosion resistance among commonly used contact platings. It will not corrode even when exposed to harsh environmental conditions (dirt, weather conditions, chemicals, etc.) for long periods of time. This also keeps the connective properties unchanged. The high-performance ODU LAMTAC® contact system enables reliable connections at high temperatures of +150 °C and current-carrying capacities up to 2,400 A. Depending on the specification version, one or more striped lamellas are mounted on the cutting pin. Each stripe of this lamella creates multiple connections. ・Extremely high vibration and shock resistance. ・Large current carrying capacity up to 2,400 A. ・High vibration stability and high impact resistance. ・Low contact resistance.
