Porecell is a cement-based rigid porous sound-absorbing material that exhibits high sound-absorbing properties due to its structure, where the cell walls are partially broken and connected. The sound absorption performance is unparalleled to other cement-based rigid porous sound absorption materials, showing a reverberation room method sound absorption coefficient of 0.85 to 1.00 from 500Hz to 2KHz when tightly attached to a 50mm thick rigid wall, even in the low frequency range. It has high performance.
This material has sound absorption performance comparable to that of the most excellent fiber-based sound absorption material, and is superior in terms of durability, safety, and maintainability. Porecell sound absorbing material has a water-repellent surface treatment and is a sound absorbing material that is very suitable for outdoor use. Because it does not wear out against high-speed airflow, surface protection materials such as punched metal are not required, and it is resistant to wind pressure, making it suitable for silencers and ventilation shafts.
■Heat resistance
Since the raw materials are cement and silica, it is certified as a non-combustible material. It can be used at high temperatures (below 200℃) without any change in sound absorption coefficient.
