About This Product

■Why is a high softener necessary?

Manufacturers recommend using pure water or soft water for steam irons. Have you ever used a household iron with regular tap water and had a problem with whitish scum coming out of the steam hole at the bottom of the iron or the hole getting clogged? This is limescale and limescale. If you use tap water in a steam iron for a long period of time, impurities in the water will gradually settle and stones will accumulate on the bottom of the iron and harden, causing the amount of steam that comes out to decrease or not come out at all. "High Softener" has the effect of removing impurities in the water and preventing the precipitation and stones of magnesium sulfate and calcium carbonate, which are harmful to irons. In other words, it is recommended for those who find it difficult to always have pure water or soft water available.

■How to use

High Softner breaks down impurities in tap water just by placing it in a hanging tank (dripping tank) or tabletop pump. The recommended time for replacement is approximately one year, but when the color of the high softener changes from green to black (brown), it is time to replace it. The actual replacement period will vary depending on the ingredients in the water and the frequency of use.

■How to use it like this

It can also be used for household irons, etc. You can get the same effect by putting a high-softener in an old stocking, soaking it in water for about a day in a wide-mouthed plastic bottle, and using it with your iron at home.

■Note

High Softner can be stored for approximately 2 months in an unopened state in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight. Since it is difficult to store for a long period of time, we recommend that you do not buy in bulk for stock, but instead order when exchanging.
