About This Product

■SuperFinish whetstone

This grindstone is used to improve surface roughness by removing distortions, waviness, and damaged layers on the workpiece surface from the previous process.

■Honing whetstone

・It is a type of surface finishing process similar to super finishing, and is a grindstone for cylindrical and outer diameter machining. ・With a grindstone attached to a cylindrical tool, it is pressed against the inner and outer diameter of the workpiece, and processing is performed through rotation and reciprocating motion.

■Electroplated wheel

Generally, it is a type of wheel that has a nickel plating layer formed on the base metal and holds diamond abrasive grains or CBN abrasive grains in a cradled manner.

■Abrasive grain

A wide range of abrasive grains are used, including WA, GC, WA+GC abrasive grains, other alumina-based, other chromium-based, diamond, and CBN-based abrasive grains.

■Bond

・Each manufacturer has a lineup of bonds with specialized performance and lifespan depending on the workpiece, abrasive grain, grain size, and processing method. - Particle size, hardness, and treatment: Considering the target surface roughness, coarse particles can be selected from #600 particles to fine particles #10,000. ・It is also possible to change the hardness (-80 to +130) and treat the whetstone with sulfur or wax depending on the required sharpness and lifespan. Note) The above particle size and hardness are general examples.

■Shape

There are products for the outer diameter of bearing rollers, shafts, pins, etc., for flat surface machining of plate-shaped workpieces, and for raceway surfaces of bearing inner and outer rings.
