About This Product

Hyblone SA is a heat-welding modified asphalt emulsion for use in water-blocking construction methods that emulsifies extremely hard modified asphalt. A thick tack coat film is formed by spraying a large amount (0.8ℓ/m2 or more) onto the base layer surface using a special distributor. When a porous mixture is laid on the surface layer, the asphalt film fills the voids under the porous mixture by thermal welding, forming a water-blocking layer to protect the base layer.

After disassembly, the tack coat is difficult to adhere to the tires, so even if a construction vehicle enters, the tack coat is less likely to be disturbed, ensuring water-blocking properties, unifying the layer structure, and preventing staining of surrounding roads.

■Features・By spraying 0.8ℓ/m2 or more, the permeability coefficient is 10-1 to 10-2cm/s lower than when not sprayed, providing a high water-blocking function. (Depending on the existing base layer conditions, we recommend spraying at a rate of 1.0ℓ/m2 or more.)
・By applying a heated mixture to the surface layer, a strong adhesive force is developed through thermal welding, suppressing slippage between the composite materials and suppressing aggregate scattering.
- After the emulsion is decomposed, it does not stick to tires easily, so it does not stain the surrounding road surface.
- Fills cracks in existing pavement to suppress reflection cracks.
