About This Product

The C2 camera is a GMSL (GigabitMultimediaSerialLink) camera for automotive applications with a resolution of 5.4MP, 2,880 x 1,860px.

Equipped with Sony Semiconductor Solutions' IMX490 back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, it is capable of achieving 120dB equivalent dynamic range, LED flicker reduction, and motion artifact reduction at frame rates of up to 30fps. The C2 camera has both high sensitivity and high resolution, and can be used in a wide range of applications such as object recognition and signal recognition.

The lens can be mounted with 6-axis active alignment to achieve optimal sharpness even in harsh temperature environments. Indy Semiconductor's 5300ISP (ImageSignal Processor) performs various image processing including lens distortion correction to achieve optimal image quality for automotive applications. C2 also supports external triggering mechanisms, which are essential for synchronizing with other sensors such as LiDAR and RADAR, and enables sensor fusion.

The C2 camera can be used as is for mass production of automotive applications. The main semiconductors comply with AEC-Q100Grade2, Q101 and Q200, which are reliability requirements for automotive semiconductors, and are designed to pass automotive grade reliability tests.

■GMSL2 interface compatibleLong distance signal transmission (up to 15m) and power supply can be achieved with a single cable connection

■In-vehicle qualityUses automotive-grade components and can operate in a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C
