GEA OptiRobot 6000 is a new robot picker solution that offers maximum automation, low labor costs and high flexibility. This allows automatic loading of packaging machines with differently shaped parts in different arrangements. Optional vision system and fast gripper change mechanism increase efficiency and reduce downtime. The integrated GEA OptiBuffer system ensures higher performance and faster reload times.

GEA's new robot picker solution, the GEA OptiRobot 6000, meets customer demands for the highest level of automation, combining ultra-low labor costs with maximum flexibility. This means higher line efficiency than ever before. This new robot makes it possible to load parts of various shapes (stack, rubble, overlapping, etc.) into the packaging machine in all kinds of laying patterns, all completely automatically. Our state-of-the-art gripper concept features the latest 3D technology as well as an excellent exchange mechanism for quick and easy changes. Seamlessly integrated into our line solutions, it can be operated with any GEA SmartControl HMI. An optional state-of-the-art vision system detects individual parts before they enter the loading area, ensuring only the appropriate parts are loaded into pre-formed packages. This can significantly reduce costly line stoppages. Finally, the new gripper change mechanism significantly reduces downtime by minimizing change-over times for different products. GEA OptiBuffer is an integrated, dynamic and intelligent buffer system that guarantees higher performance and faster slicer reload times
