■Intro

Batter application is important to ensure a perfect appearance of the coated product. GEA WetCoater works with underbaths and 4-layer batter curtains. By varying the position of the batter curtain, you can fine-tune the process to suit your application and provide the ideal adhesion for breading. This makes it a reliable machine that has been proven on numerous lines around the world due to its ease of use and robust design.

■Main uses

Key product applications include poultry products (boneless and bone-in), pork cutlets, meat substitute products, and vegetables. GEA WetCoater can also be used to marinate pork tenderloin and spareribs.

■Highly versatile batter machine for thin batters

■Efficient use of batter

GEA WetCoater works effectively by minimizing the amount of batter in the machine. This means there is only a small amount of batter to use when starting the machine and changing to another batter. This also ensures even product coverage by keeping the batter temperature under control.

■Uniform batter coverage

Once the product leaves the machine, excess batter is blown off and returned to the process. Air supply and air distribution to the top and bottom are adjustable. Efficiently changing the position and angle of the blower ensures uniform coverage.
