About This Product

■Rotary tube selector valve (RTSV)

GEA rotary tube selector valves allow you to easily transfer powder from a single source to up to six different locations. Rotary tube selector valves are used in powder pneumatic transportation to divert product flow from a single source to multiple destinations. You can also converge the flow from multiple lines to one line. Multiport rotary tube selector valves are often used in place of a series of two-way valves, thereby simplifying the system and reducing the equipment footprint. GEA rotary tube selector valves bring a new level of innovation and design to an essential component of powder conveying systems. Enhanced structural layout increases strength and rigidity, allowing regular and reliable operation when changing powder destinations. The rotary tube selector valve's modular design is available in 2- to 6-port pipe configurations from 75 to 150 mm (3 to 6 inches). All models are manually removable and can be cleaned manually. The main advantage of RTSV is that it provides a pipe diversion system without stagnant (dead) pockets where material can accumulate and contaminate subsequent batches.

■Application

Bidirectional RTSVs divert or converge the flow of pneumatically transported powders and pellets in dilute and dense phase pressure and vacuum systems. Solid pipe offers higher pressure and temperature ratings and is less susceptible to wear than flexible hose designs. Other features include:
