About This Product

■Vacuum transport - high density phase

Dense phase vacuum conveying systems use high capacity vacuum pumps (up to 99% vacuum) to convey material from a supply hopper or silo to a receiving vessel or vacuum hopper where air and product are separated by a filter . Once the container is full, the vacuum is shut off and the transported product is discharged into the destination silo. The product is transported through the pipeline at controlled low speeds, usually in a fluid state, to reduce friction and pressure drop.

■System

The system generally works on a batch basis as follows: -The vacuum pump sucks the powder into the vacuum hopper until it is full. ・The vacuum shutoff valve closes and the discharge valve opens. ・The transported powder is discharged from the vacuum hopper. - The exhaust valve is closed and the cycle repeats. Valves and sensors are used throughout the process to control the applied vacuum, product fluidization settings, and system speed to ensure trouble-free product transfer.

■Application

Dense phase vacuum conveying is particularly suited for conveying large volumes of material over short to medium distances from multiple sources to single or multiple destinations. The low speed and vacuum make it ideal for food, dairy, and pharmaceutical applications containing friable or fragile aggregates.

■Options

Various techniques can be used to optimize the system, and additional options are available for special applications. ・Feedback speed control system that minimizes product deterioration ・Dividing the product stream into individual slugs by pulsed air injection ・Twin receiving containers that enable continuous transportation ・Stainless steel construction with hygiene and corrosion resistance in mind -Removable and polished design that complies with USDA 3A standards for easy cleaning -Multiple ingress/egress networks for maximum flexibility.
