About This Product

■Pressure conveyance - lean phase

Dilute-phase or dilute-phase pressure conveying systems use positive displacement blowers to convey material through pipelines to its destination, where filters separate the air and product. The product is fed into a high-pressure pipeline via a special feeding device (rotary valve airlock or venturi). The product is then suspended in the air current and moves at relatively high speeds depending on the size and density of the particles. This type of system is easily adaptable to dosing and continuous metering applications, as it typically operates continuously and the product is always filled at the loading point and reaches its destination without interruption.

■Application

Lean phase pressure conveying is particularly suitable for conveying low to medium volumes of material over medium distances from single or multiple points to multiple destinations. Due to their versatility and adaptability, and their low operating pressures, which allow the use of less expensive pipelines and fittings, these systems are often the most cost-effective solution for general conveyance applications.

A variety of system and component design options are available to suit specific system requirements, including: ・Measuring and dosing equipment -Special feeding systems for cohesive, sticky, lumpy products and other special properties ・Air filtration, dehumidification, cooling system ・Blower or fan noise attenuation system ・In-line sieving, sampling, lump removal, metal detection, magnetic separation systems ・Stainless steel construction with hygiene and corrosion resistance in mind -Removable and polished design that complies with USDA 3A standards for easy cleaning ・Hygiene systems for food, dairy products, and pharmaceuticals ・Stepped lines to reduce terminal velocity, wear and deterioration ・Wear-resistant piping and bending for unhygienic and abrasive products
