About This Product

■Pressure transport - dense phase

Dense phase pressure conveying systems use compressed air to push material from single or dual pressure pot systems through pipelines to a destination where the air and product are separated. The product is pushed through the pipeline at low speed at first and gradually accelerates toward its destination.

■Application

Dense phase pressure conveying is particularly suitable for conveying large volumes of material over long distances to multiple destinations. Most systems are equipped with multiple air control valves that provide high-pressure compressed air and proper fluidization to overcome pressure drops that can be caused by difficult materials. Additionally, controlling the conveyance of brittle materials and reducing conveyance speeds can extend the useful life of systems conveying abrasive materials.

■Options

To optimize the system, various techniques are available to reduce compressed air consumption and costs, and additional options for special applications are also available. ・Air injector that fluidizes the material and reduces friction ・Dividing the product stream into individual slugs by pulsed air injection ・Twin containers for continuous conveyance and minimized height requirements ・In-line sampling, delumping, metal detection, magnetic separation systems ・Stepped lines to reduce terminal velocity, wear and deterioration ・Stainless steel construction with hygiene and corrosion resistance in mind - Removable, polished design that complies with USDA 3A standards for easy cleaning.

■System

The system generally works on a batch basis as follows: ・Fill the product to be transported into the pressure cooker - Close the filling valve when the container is filled. ・Purify with compressed air ・Open the discharge valve until the product is discharged. ・Close the drain valve and refill the container with liquid. Valves and sensors are used throughout the process to control air pressure and speed, ensuring correct fluidization and trouble-free product transport.
