About This Product

■Side injector for cakes and pastries

GEA has developed a series of high-precision side injection systems suitable for all processing lines for products such as pastries, eclairs and bread. The fully automated unit is suitable for medium to maximum production volumes and can be configured to inject two fills simultaneously.

■Model DI: Cake and pastry side injector

GEA's DI model horizontal multi-piston positive displacement injector is a high capacity machine ideal for side fillings of pastries, eclairs or breads. The system is capable of injecting jam, cream or chocolate at room or controlled temperature and features an infusion head with dual motors and a special infusion head that can inject two fillings one at a time into another. Can be configured with an injection needle. The frame configuration of the DI unit consists of a conveyor with replaceable platens for easy and fast product changeover and a horizontally sliding injection head with a volumetric cylinder. The injection head is driven by a servo motor that precisely controls the filling amount and distribution within the product. Each DI injection molding machine is customized for each customer to meet any requirements. Designed to maximize productivity and reduce manual and machine downtime, the DI model can be integrated with product loading and unloading robots, so operators no longer have to manually load and unload products. Free your work and achieve extremely high throughput. Clean-in-place options ensure optimal hygiene, reduce water usage and waste, and are more effective than manual cleaning. DI machines can also be configured for special applications, such as applying icing at controlled temperatures to products such as eclairs. The unit comes with a no product, no fill option that automatically stops the cylinder and prevents dosing if there is no product on the conveyor.
