GEA offers innovative rotational molding machines for producing custom-designed lids and latticework for pies and tarts.

■Imagination is the pinnacle

The RTT lid system includes a roller to recreate your imaginative lid, checkered pattern or logo, and an additional crimp press to seal the lid to the pie.

■Model RTT: Rotary Mulder

GEA's RTT rotary forming machine was developed as a dedicated system for producing lids and latticework for pie tops. It offers almost endless possibilities for customizing pie products such as Italian crostina and mince pies. The RTT lidding system consists of a rotary molding machine that forms a lattice top or lid, which can be combined with a crimp press to seal the top of the pie. GEA can provide rollers to reproduce the molding of almost any lattice or lid pattern, including designs from customer's own drawings. You can also duplicate your brand or logo. GEA has designed the RTT system to provide user-friendly operation with easy and quick roller replacement to minimize downtime.
