About This Product

■Summary

GEA offers fabric feeding systems in a variety of sizes to meet specific production requirements, capacities and product configurations. Each system can be configured to accommodate different fabric textures and viscosities, and can be configured to suit available space and factory layout. Our engineering staff ensures that the fabric feeding system is fully integrated with the production line and matches end-to-end performance. GEA can provide feeding solutions for soft dough cookies, hard biscuits and crackers. GEA's fabric feeding technology can be designed to include ground level tab lifting and tilting systems. Our company can provide units consisting of an overhead hopper and a pneumatic guillotine. This is perfect for serving hard sweet biscuit or cracker dough, and soft cookie dough. It is also possible to configure the system with pocket rollers that directly divide the fabric. Options include metal detectors on the exit conveyor to ensure optimal product safety and dough grinding technology to break up any lumps that may have formed in the dough during mixing. All GEA systems are designed to comply with the most stringent food safety and hygiene requirements. Vertical tub elevators lift tubs containing dough to a predetermined height and tip them into the hopper of the downstream dough feeding system. The dough feeding system for hard sweet biscuit or cracker dough (also suitable for soft cookie dough) consists of a tab tilting device, a dough feeder with pneumatic guillotine, and a metal detector on the outfeed conveyor. To optimize the production process, a dough feeding system consisting of pocket rollers can be used to create portions of the dough before conveying it to the forming machine. For rotomolded biscuits, GEA offers dough crumblers that crush the dough and improve the processing efficiency of rotomoulding machines. Sensors in the forming machine hopper monitor the dough level, allowing the control system to control the speed of the feed conveyor to adjust the dough flow. All GEA systems are easy to clean and all parts that come into contact with the product are made of high quality food grade materials.
