■Model DAP: Wet topping depositor

GEA's versatile DAP depositor is designed for topping American or Italian pizza with diced ingredients such as cheese, ham, and vegetables. It's also great for putting toppings on cakes, from raspberries to streusel. DAP model depositors are typically installed in the processing line after the tomato deposit system to add more ingredients to the pizza. The unit consists of a C-shaped frame to which the belt is attached and the product is loaded. An electric finger device evenly distributes topping ingredients onto the pizza base. Toppings can be sprinkled across the base in a cascade, or you can attach a movable mask to add ingredients only to the center of the pizza without covering the edges, like on an Italian pizza. DAP units are ideal for high-volume production and can be equipped with product loading and collection conveyors, reducing the need for operator intervention. The DAP Model Depositor uses a motorized finger device to evenly distribute topping ingredients onto a muffin or pizza base. You can also install product loading and collection conveyors to optimize automation and minimize waste.
