GEA offers versatile systems for filling rye dough as well as hard mix doughs for a variety of end products such as flapjacks, fruitcakes and gluten-free breads. This unit is ideal for small to medium sized bakeries who want to improve the accuracy and speed of processing sticky dough mixes that are difficult to handle and deposit. The highly versatile stand-alone DRB model rye bread depositor is equipped with an exchangeable die plate, hopper heating and cooling jacket and electric scraper to automate the feeding, dividing and placing of doughs and mixes of various viscosities You can configure it to:

■Model DRB: Rye bread storage

GEA's DRB model positive displacement depositor extruder is specifically designed for depositing rye bread, but can also be used in various viscosities to produce a wide range of products, from flapjacks and fruitcakes to gluten-free breads. It also meets the industry's need for technology that can accurately deposit mixes and fabrics. Designed for flexible processing of sticky doughs, the DRB model consists of an intermittent running conveyor for baking molds, a head with hopper and a nonstick chute for dough feeding. A guillotine system with replaceable die plates is used for dividing the dough. The equipment also comes with a double-jacketed hopper for mix cooling or heating, a grid for easier hand loading of the mix, and an electric scraper for use with viscous mixes. Featuring a user-friendly touchscreen panel, all machine functions are easily programmable, simplifying operation. DRB units are also designed to incorporate as few components as possible, making them easier to inspect and clean, and all parts that come into contact with the product can be easily removed, minimizing downtime. can be suppressed to
