SMO model sliding head depanners can use needles, suction caps, or clamps to transfer products from baking trays to conveyors, and can also be equipped with servo motors for increased precision and throughput . Model SMO

GEA's SMO depanners are committed to providing optimal reliability and consistent operation in production plants, carefully picking up products from baking trays and placing them directly on conveyor belts, which typically transfer them to packaging systems. This unit can be used to depan a variety of products such as cakes, pies and croissants. The SMO depanner consists of a sturdy frame that supports an electric slide head. The head can be fitted with a needle, suction cup or clamp and allows for the depaning of various products directly from trays or conveyor belts. Featuring GEA's legendary reliability, SMO units are built to maximize productivity. Robust mechanisms and the ability to simultaneously remove more product from more trays increase capacity. If higher speed is required, the machine can also be provided with a servo motor. This allows for even higher precision pick and place and gentler product handling.
