■GEA Aquarius Flex Former

Perfectly shaped lollipops, great taste and texture are the secret to success. These benefits are realized when forming with the GEA Aquarius Flexformer. Whether it's a ball, flat or three-dimensional shape, the GEA Aquarius flexformer series is the perfect machine for the job.

■Operating principle

The flex former machine has a sugar rope detection system, if the sugar does not enter the format set, the stick will not be sent to the die set. Solid or center-filled ball lollipops, or fancy or 3D lollipops are formed in format sets. Format sets and molding machines are designed to allow very flexible and rapid changes in size and shape. Easy-to-change sets allow you to change sizes and shapes within an hour. To reduce cleaning effort and time, a CIP (cleaning in place unit) is available as an option. This system with a large number of nozzles cleans the molding set in about 20 minutes. ■Performance

It's extremely flexible and allows you to quickly change the size and shape of your lollipop, as well as easily adjust it to fit different stick lengths. GEA flexformers have low downtime thanks to an automatic lubrication system and include an extensive mechanical damage protection package. With the CIP unit, machine downtime due to cleaning when cleaning die sets is minimized to approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Due to the high operating speeds, great care is taken to ensure that all mechanical parts are well protected.
