About This Product

■VARIVENT® safety valve

Specially developed for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, VARIVENT® safety valves comply with all relevant standards and regulations such as DIN 11866 and ASME BPE. This unique LESER HyTight assembly with low dead space in the entry area and optional pneumatic lifting device has high cleaning power (CIP, SIP). Thanks to the wide selection of sterile connections (threads, flanges, clamps), the valves are optimally adapted to different conditions.

■Function

Full-life safety valve with pop-action opening releases high flow rates of mass flow or rapid build-up pressure. Safety valves are often used in steam and gas applications. This valve, which opens completely even at small pressures, completely evacuates the mass flow. Normal stroke safety valves are the best pressure relief valves. In addition, the wide proportional area allows stable operation even during pressure drops and pressure peaks. Its long proportional phase has almost full-life characteristics. Similar properties can reduce large mass flows. This valve can also be used as an overflow valve, where the miniature size of the full-life safety valve is too large. An optional valve with pneumatic lifting device is available to ensure that all products that touch surfaces are hygienically cleaned (CIP) or sterilized (SIP).
