About This Product

■ECOVENT® Divert Valve

ECOVENT® single seat divert valves are used for simple divert functions in hygienic applications. This valve is characterized by easy operation.

■Function

In single-seat shuttle valves, there is only one seal at each switching position on the valve disc that separates certain pipelines from each other. Single-seat shutoff valves are not suitable for separating incompatible fluids.

■ECOVENT® series

The ECOVENT® valve series is characterized by a compact design. Unlike VARIVENT® systems with multiple options, this series offers a simple and economical solution to meet standard requirements.

■Application example

In practice, these valves are frequently used in CIP supply and return lines. One typical application is a valve installed at the end of a valve block as a diversion valve between a process line and a wastewater line (e.g. during extrusion).

■Recommended flow direction

To avoid water hammer when closing one path while product is flowing, single seat divert valves should be switched opposite the direction of product flow, if possible.
