About This Product

■FunctionWhen the valve is closed (inactive position), there are always two seals between the separated pipelines. If one seal is defective, the leak will flow through the leak outlet into the surrounding area without mixing with the product in the second pipeline.

This method ensures that products from the two pipelines do not mix.

VARIVENT® long-stroke valves are used to produce products with relatively large particles or viscous products such as strawberry yogurt.

■A wide variety of typesVARIVENT® double seat valves are available in a variety of models so you can choose the valve that best suits your process.

Shaft-sealed valve types D and B experience a slight switching leakage during each switching procedure, but the shaft seal provides a very long service life. On the other hand, the radiant seal valve type R has the advantage of being able to be switched with almost no leakage caused by switching.

Valve types B and R are additionally equipped with a balancer in the bottom valve housing. This ensures that the valve remains closed even in the event of water hammer in the lower pipeline.

Valve type MX is equipped with a double disc and an additional balancer on the valve disc. Thanks to specially shaped balancers in both pipelines, the valve remains stable in the closed position even in the case of water hammer, while remaining fully functional even in the case of hydraulic locking or thermal expansion of the medium.
