About This Product

■Summary

This surge protector is compatible with various types of surges, including power supplies up to DC12V and control signals of 3MHz or less. It uses a surge absorption method different from conventional ones, and is effective without being grounded. It will now be possible to protect equipment that previously could not be protected from surges due to grounding. Features

■No need for grounding work

Conventional surge protectors always require grounding work, but this product uses a new method that absorbs surge energy and releases it in a dispersed manner, making it possible to protect equipment without having to ground it.

■Protects connected equipment such as power supplies and control signals from various surges

Power supply up to DC12V, control signals such as RS485/422 of 3MHz or less, sensors, non-voltage/voltage contact signals, induction lightning (LFS), power switching surge (PSS), inrush current (SIC), electromagnetic pulse (EMP) ).

■High protection ability

Passed 6kV/3kA in tests using combination waveforms (1.2/50μs, 8/20μs). Compatible with IEC standard "IEC 61643-21" which is equivalent to "JIS C5381-21". (Surge protection device connected to communication and signal circuits, equivalent to category C2) Compatible with IEC standard "IEC 61000-4-4", which is equivalent to "JIS C61000-4-4". Blocks surges from power wiring and surges caused by electromagnetic pulses. It is also effective against surges caused by chattering and turning off inductive load circuits, which cannot be removed with conventional lightning arresters.
