About This Product

■Summary

This is a surge protector for AC power supplies that protects equipment from various types of surges. JUP480F can be used with equipment connected to AC100-480V power. Although a ground connection is required, there is no installation resistance requirement, making it possible to protect equipment in locations with poor grounding environments. Features

■Single-phase/three-phase power supply compatible

Compatible with single-phase and three-phase AC power supplies. For three-phase AC, six JUP480Fs are used for Y connection and three JUP480Fs are used for Δ connection.

■Grounding

Although this product must be connected to the ground, it does not require a grounding resistance, so it is effective in protecting equipment in locations with poor grounding environments.

■DIN rail compatible

Compatible with mounting on board surfaces and DIN rails. The DIN rail adapter can be removed and can also be fixed with screws.

■Protects connected devices from various surges

Protects equipment connected to AC100-480V power supplies from induced lightning (LFS), power switching surges (PSS), inrush currents (SIC), electromagnetic pulses (EMP), and continuous discharge surges (SSS). .

■High protection ability

・Compliant with IEC standard "IEC 61643-1" equivalent to "JIS C5381-1" Passed 10kV/5kA in test using combination waveform (1.2/50μs, 8/20μs) (Class III) ・Compatible with IEC standard "IEC 61000-4-4" which is equivalent to "JIS C61000-4-4" Chattering that cannot be removed with conventional lightning arresters, surges caused by ON/OFF of inductive load circuits, surges due to electromagnetic pulses and sparks, etc. also effective
