About This Product

■Summary

Converts RS232C to RS485 (2-wire half-duplex). The connector on the RS232C side is a Dsub 9-pin female connector, so it can be connected directly to the port. Up to 32 RS485 terminals can be connected. Total wiring length is 1,200m *It operates by obtaining power (+5V) from pins 1, 4, 6, 7, and 8 of the connection terminal (Dsub 9 pin). If there is no voltage on these pins, it will not work. If power cannot be supplied from the RS232C port, please use RS001I. Features

■Convert RS232C to RS485

Converts RS232C to RS485 (2-wire half-duplex).

■No power supply required

Power is supplied from the RS232C port, so there is no need to prepare a separate power supply.

■Direct connection to RS232C port

The RS232C side connector is a Dsub 9-pin female connector, so it can be directly connected to the RS232C port.

■Connection of up to 32 devices

Up to 32 RS485 terminals can be connected. The total length of wiring is up to 1,200m.

■Communication speed

The communication speed is automatically recognized and the maximum speed is 115,200bps.
