About This Product

■Summary

VDL5030 is a transmission device that transmits Ethernet signals over long distances using a single coaxial cable. (5C-FB cable recommended) Compatible with PoE/PoE Plus and can supply up to 30W of power to connected devices during 600m transmission. It is also suitable for communication between bases as the communication speed does not decrease even when extended for 1,000m. Features

■Ethernet signal long distance transmission

You can extend your Ethernet signal over long distances up to 1,000m using 5C-FB coaxial cable.

■PoE Plus compatible

It supports PoE / PoE Plus power supply and can supply up to 30W during 600m transmission. You can connect devices with high power consumption, such as PTZ cameras and cameras with built-in infrared projectors.

■Camera side module does not require power supply

VDL5030-RU (camera side module) does not require a power supply. There is no need to connect a power source near the module, so you can install it anywhere.

■Ethernet long distance transmission

Even if the cable is extended for 1,000m, the communication speed remains the same both up and down, making it suitable for communication between bases. (Maximum 100Mbps)

■Noise resistance

RF modulation is performed between VDL5030s for transmission, making transmission resistant to noise.

■Differences from the previous version

From September 2022, the chipset used in the VDL5030 was no longer available due to a semiconductor shortage, so we have updated the chipset. As a result, it is no longer compatible with VDL5030 produced before September 2022, so in the event of a failure, both LU and RU will need to be replaced. Also, although the main specifications remain unchanged, the IP address used will change. New: 192.168.1.249 Old version: 192.168.1.111 *Both new and old are fixed
