About This Product

■Summary

This is an EPoT series outdoor transmitter equipped with one LAN port that supports PoE Plus. You can use CAT5e or higher UTP or STP cables to transmit Ethernet signals over long distances and power connected devices with PoE Plus. You can select and use the receiver according to your purpose. No power adapter is required as the power supplied via PoT is used to drive the main unit. Features

■What is EPoT series?

EPoT series is an abbreviation for Ethernet & Power over UTP/STP cable, and is a system that transmits Ethernet signals and power over long distances from a receiver to a transmitter using a CAT5e or higher UTP or STP cable. The transmitter is powered by the power transmitted from the receiver, so there is no need to connect a separate power adapter. Additionally, the transmitter can supply power to PoE-compatible devices.

■Dustproof, waterproof, shockproof

The dustproof/dustproof performance is IP67 rated, so it can be installed as is without storing it in a separate box, even in environments where it is exposed to direct water or dust. In addition, the impact resistance class corresponds to IK10.

■Ethernet, long-distance power transmission

Extend Ethernet signals and power over long distances up to 1,200m using 5C-2V or higher coaxial cable. *When transmitting only Ethernet signals, the maximum extension distance is 2,400m.

■No power supply required

The transmitter itself operates by receiving PoT power transmitted from the receiver, so no separate power adapter is required.

■PoE/PoE Plus compatible

It can supply up to 57.17W of power to PoE/PoE Plus compatible devices.

■Communication speed

The supported Ethernet standards are 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX.

■Surge countermeasures

The main unit has a built-in surge protector. (Withstand voltage: 6kV) *When operating the surge protector, be sure to connect it to ground.

■Daisy chain connection

This is a connection method that connects multiple transmitters in a daisy chain. Transmitters can be added anywhere on a single coaxial cable, allowing multiple cameras to be operated. The maximum number of transmitters that can be connected and the maximum total extension distance are as follows.
